Daily Dispatch: 2007 Senior Games

Chocky White, from Henderson, N.C., danced around the tennis court and smacked the ball like he was 25, not 63. Just ask Donald Means, who lost to White 6-4, 6-3.

"He moves exceptionally well for a 63-year-old. I want to see his ID," says a laughing Means, 63, from Los Angeles.

White won back-to-batch matches Saturday. He says Means' lightening-bolt serves and towering height posed a worthy challenge.

"I played about as well as I could and got a couple breaks," White says. "I wouldn't want to play (Means) again."

White moves onto the next round in the winner's bracket in the Men's Singles 60-64 Division; Means goes into the consolation bracket. After the first round, all matches are single elimination.
